Angry Birds: Without the birds

A basic version of Angry Birds. Fire bombs towards moving targets and destroy them to win the game. Each bomb has a unique feature.

Final coursework project for my first year Entertainment Software Development module. The task was to create a basic version of "Angry Birds",  where the player is able to drag and launch a "bird" towards a target, destroying it on contact.

To achieve a higher grade, I adding more functionality to the "birds" and the targets. There are three different "birds" the player is able to use, and some targets have more health and require multiple hits to destroy.

Controls

Arrow keys                -  Menu navigation

Enter                             -  Select menu option

Left click + mouse  -  Draw and launch "bird"

Space                             - Special "bird" action

"Bird" Types

Normal: No special functionality

Red: Launch forwards

Blue: Launch down
